Steps to Christ

Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:  11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. 11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; 11:23 Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

Why is God say this here? It is our shield/ protection for prosperity.

Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.

37:31 The law of his God [is] in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart.

119:2 Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

119:92 Unless thy law [had been] my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

119:174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [is] my delight.
119:175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
119:176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

The heavy metal from which the Bible is made is His law from which life exists.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Revelation  14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

22:14 Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
